Air Ad Promotions Inc. is an an outdoor, on-site advertising agency that provides attention grabbing decor for businesses. Air Ad Promotions Inc. is headquartered in the State of Texas in the United States (“we,” “us,” “our,” and “Air Ad Promotions”).

Our Products enable our Customers to, among other things, promote grand openings, remodels, sales and other promotions. We also provide other services, such as installations and removals of advertising products. Find out more about our Services here.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When accessing the site, we may collect the following types of Personal Data: originating Internet Protocol (IP) address, proxy IP address, URL accessed, complete HTTP header, HTTP request body, and cookies. Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

Any information submitted via a contact form is stored onsite for up to one week for customer service purposes. After one week, the data is removed from the site and transferred to the corporate cloud. This may include your name, email address, phone number, and message context. We do not share this information with any third parties, or use it for anything other than fulfilling your contact request.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Why am I seeing ads by Google for products I’ve viewed?

Our website uses a remarketing advertising service. Our remarketing service is provided by Google and other companies that show our ads on websites across the Internet. With remarketing, you may see ads for our products you have previously looked at.

How does that work?

We use remarketing for similar purposes so you may see advertisements for our products as you search the Internet. For this to happen, Google, or other remarketing providers will read a cookie that is already in your browser, or they place a cookie in your browser when you visit our site or other sites using remarketing. (This can only happen if your browser is set to let it happen).

When you visit another website that works with Google, or other providers of remarketing advertising, you may see ads for products you previously viewed although they may have nothing to do with the website you are seeing the ads on. This happens because your browser is sending Google the same cookie and encouraging you to revisit the computer website you previously visited.

Analytics

We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about your use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit, how long users stay on the page, which browser and device they are using, and how they may have arrived at this site. We use this data to improve this site. Google Analytics does not capture your name, but rather the IP address associated with your visit. Google Analytics data is not retained beyond 26 months.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your personal data with anyone.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Google Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 26 months.

Contact form data may be retained up to one week from submission.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
